Learning a second language indicates the capacity to perceive and comprehend a different language, developing the ability to use words to communicate with it.
Our First Grade students learn and practice through memory games, matching the sounds with their symbol (letters) and connecting words with meaning (images). These types of practices benefit not only their attention and phonemic awareness, also their memorizing ability. Allowing our students to expand their vocabulary, helping them retrieve words later on when needed to communicate or convey meaning.
