Storytelling

Asa class activity, Miss Itzia asked us, the tenth graders, to tell the kindergarteners a little story, and we picked the story: “The Bear Snores On”.

“The Bear Snores On” is a cute little story about a bear hibernating and a bunch of little animals coming into his cave and partying while he sleeps. But the bear wakes up and gets sad, so the animals cheer him up and party together.

We had been preparing for this for about a week. Nelly read the story and showed the pictures to the kids; Nancy was the bear, Andrea was the rabbit, and I was the badger. Camila was supposed to be the mouse but couldn’t attend the presentation day. The acting ones wore makeup, and we made animal ears with our hair.

So in the end it was a success! We all enjoyed doing it, and the kids enjoyed watching and participating. Maybe sooner or later, we’ll get to write our own story and act it out!
