Camping Trips
To wrap up another school year, students from 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th Grade, went camping in cabins in the forest located in Tapalpa, Jalisco.
Students were able to really get out of their comfort zone. Activities like hiking and kayaking were the highlights of this trip. At night, everyone enjoyed a bonfire in the middle of the forest while singing and having snacks.
Camping trips are important for students to develop many skills. They become aware of what is like to live an experience where they are away from parents making their own decisions, which also allows them to be more confident, creative, and imaginative. It is a great experience for children to realize we don’t always need technology to be entertained and of course, have fun. In the end, students mentioned that they can’t wait for the next one!
